Have contribute to the world of Science and research by working as a clinician and a researcher.Through several multicentric studies, have connected the remote North Eastern state of Sikkim, not only nationally but also internationally. Presently am Vice President API East Zone, Publon certified Peer reviewer (1st one in Sikkim), Research advisory committee member for various universities, authored several chapters and published articles in various peer reviewed journals.
Have a patent on Machine Learning Based Rodent Detection And Control Device. Patent number: 2020103211 Australian Government

Worked as Head of Department of Medicine at SMIMS Gangtok from 2009 till 2020 during which got UG and PG recognition for Medical courses. Have been actively involved in patient care, outreach camps, community services, resource building in the state by organising various training programs. Several research done relevant to my state in order to find solutions to societal issues in collaboration with the government.
1) Funded projects from ICMR,DBT,DST,Duke Research University, USASt. John’s Research Institute, Bangalore and NIH, USA, Hamilton Health Sciences (through Population Health Research Institute), McMaster University, Hamilton, Canada etc.
