Bio |
Malathi received her Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree from University of Madras, Guindy, Chennai, Tamilnadu, India. After M.Phil Degree she continued her PhD (Synthesis and Characterization of Di-block PLGA Copolymers and their Nanoparticles: Controlled Drug Delivery with Nanoparticles for Anti-Tuberculosis, Anti-Cancer and Anti-Diabetes) under the supervision of Professor S.Balasubramanian, Department of Inorganic Chemistry, University of Madras. After PhD she joined NPDF under the mentor of Professor S.Rama Shanker Verma, Department of Biotechnology, IIT Madras. Since 2019, Malathi has been working as a Kothari post- doctoral researcher at Professor S.Narayana Kalkura. Crystal Growth Centre, Anna University, Chennai. Malathi’s area of speciality and research interest include synthesis and characterization of biodegrable polymer nanomaterials, nanopatterns, nanovesicles. She had skill to handle different instrumnets like UV-Visible spectroscopy, FTIR, DLS, NMR and AFM. She has expertise in synthesis of different ratio of PLGA copolymers. She has published her work in reputed journals. She has 5 book chapters and also she have one pattern.
