Shivani Gupta is a biotechnologist by training and healthtech entrepreneur by profession. She is the founding CEO of Inochi Care, an innovation driven healthcare company committed to solve unmet needs in the area of wound care and management. It aims to break down economic, social, and geographic barriers limiting the options patients have when seeking quality wound care. Shivani sees deep-tech solutions as the cross-cutting enabler to addressing many of the healthcare challenges faced around the globe both impact fully and sustainably. She believes that equitable access to quality healthcare should be a right to everyone rather than a privilege. Prior to founding Inochi Care, she received her PhD degree from BITS Pilani, India followed by a Biodesign fellowship at School of International Biodesign (formerly Stanford India Biodesign). Shivani has received national and international recognition for her innovation and entrepreneurial work, including Forbes Ignite Change maker 2021, TiE Global women entrepreneur, MIT technology innovator under 35 2016, Gandhian young technology innovation award 2018, INAE entrepreneur of the year, Women social innovator of the year at the TiE social sustainability summit 2021.
