Hematology and Neuropathology. I was project co-ordinator and PI for a project on Prevalence of Hemoglobinopathy in indigenous tribes of Meghalaya where we had to do field work for blood collection along with health camps. We completed the work successfully and shared the findings with DBT and the state . The manuscript is being written. Currently doing project with AIIMS New Delhi on Pediatric Gliomas supported by DBT . I was Co-PI for an Infrastructure Development Project at NEIGRIHMS,Department of Pathology.

| Significant Contribution |
I have been a part of this institute since its inception and am proud to have played a big role in helping establish the Pathology department. I also am second in charge of the department and co-ordinate the human resource, maintenance, teaching of MD, MBBS and BSc Nursing students and research as guide and co-guide to the post graduate students.
I contributed as an Author to Textbook of Pathology, by A.K.Mandal and written 4 chapters in local circulation books on Medical Education and Research.
I have been reviewer for renowed Journal ‘Turkish J of Hematology’ and BMC Pulmonary Medicine, Cureus. Invited as speaker in regional, national and international forums.

Work experience- started as Faculty in KMC,Manipal for almost 3 years, joined NEIGRIHMS in 2004 till date. Teaching experience- 20 years. Been Post graduate thesis guide past 12 years. Involved for past 10 years in 11 DBT projects and as PI in 6 of them. Published 24 original articles of which 7 are first/corresponding author.
